Inside the Dahlia 24"x24"
I wanted to communicate the juxtaposition and compression of the young petals just opening in the center of the flower against the longer and graceful lines of the older petals. The single image of this piece shows the subtle color changes from pale yellow, oranges to soft pinks. This photo is printed on fine art paper and embellished with color pencil, mounted on a painted wooden panel under 1/8" acrylic. 24"x24"
